University of Western Australia – EZONE

The University of Western Australia – Faculty of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences EZONE is building a new home to transform the way EMS educates students, undertakes research and engages with the community. When complete (expected 2020), EZONE UWA will be a massive investment, both financial and intellectual, in WA’s knowledge economy that will deliver outstanding graduates and innovative solutions.

Leading corporations including BHP Iron Ore and Woodside Energy have prioritised the development with substantial multimillion-dollar investments, and a number of alumni have donated generous gifts. The Student Hub will include three science laboratories, 11 teaching rooms, a café, and office space for 150 higher degree students.
Outline of DaRa’s Scope of Works :
DaRa Switchboards is engaged in Design, Supply, install, test commission the following services :
Cubic Main Switch Board(4000 Amps and 50 KA Short circuit) designed for two parallel transformers with two incoming ACB’s, one four pole ACB at the Bustier.

Building Main Distribution Board ( maximum rating 400 Amps and 25 KA Short Circuit),
10x Distribution Boards for Lab buildings.
Dara utilised a team of 10 highly specialised Engineering staff to manufacture the Switchboards with a tight schedule and supplied to the site in November 2018.
