DaRa Switchboards commenced operations in 2010, after taking over the Australian manufacturing arm of a pioneer in electrical component and switchboard manufacturing.

Dara Switchboards has service clients in commercial, industrial, mining and renewable sectors with specialised switchboard solutions over the last 14 years. With in-house capabilities in sheet metal fabrication and powder coating, Dara Switchboards manufacture switchboards from a 250A distribution board to 4000A motor control centres and everything in between.

ABBA Renewables, a wholly owned subsidiary of ABBA Engineering in Kalgoorlie acquired Dara Switchboards in October 2022. ABBA Renewables investment in Dara Switchboards is another key addition to ABBA Engineering’s capabilities and the commitment to helping the mining industry’s transition to renewable energy apart from helping the existing and growing client base of Dara Switchboards.
